The newest WEED-IT Quadro incorporates 10 years of worldwide experience with the WEED-IT Ag system. Quadro refers to the four detection zones of every WEED-IT detection sensor, each accounting for 25 cm (10 inches) of the entire spray boom width. The extra small zones with improved optics make sure the system never misses any weed. Whereas this additional accuracy is easily missed by the human eye, the new blue LED-lighting is not. Blue LED’s have proven to be more sensitive to weeds and less sensitive to background noise and thus more efficient compared to the red LED-lighting used to date. Blue is the new colour of the next generation of spot spraying technology.
Spot Spray
In the SPOT SPRAYING mode, WEED-IT targets all living green material on fallow land to maximise moisture availability and to minimise competition and herbicide resistances. This is the spraying mode it all started with back in 1999.
Dual Spray
In DUAL SPRAYING mode, WEED-IT applies a low application rate full width and a higher rate on every single weed detected. WEED-IT is the only system capable of offering dual spraying technology with just one spray line.
Full Coverage
COVER MODE is yet another unique WEED-IT feature. While using it for in crop spraying, your sprayer acts as a normal sprayer, but with pulse width modulation to maintain set spray rate independent to the operation speed and boon movement.
